Project Description

FlAixEnergy is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

The research objective is the conception, development and prototypic implementation of a platform for the integration of industrial consumers as flexibility cluster and decentralized producers of renewable energy that will be concluded in so called virtual power plants.

FEN Research Campus participates in the project with the work packages “conception of local production clusters” and “conceptual design and development of solutions for power distribution”. The aims are to develop a method for automatic clustering of different productions units taking advantage of building effects as well as to determine the flexibility that can be offered on the FlAixEnergy platform.

This project is part of the LV Consortium.
